Big Garlic Diamond & Enamel Amulet
This unique amulet is inspired by a flavoursome and flowering plant that throughout time, has been hailed as sacred, medicinal and religious.
This amulet represents protection, courage and self-love. Made with the gold and enamel colour of your choice and diamonds.
Fairytale/Myth:
PROTECTION - Garlic was placed by the ancient Greeks on the piles of stones at cross-roads, as a supper for Hecate — a goddess of the wilderness and childbirth, or for protection from demons.
SELF-LOVE - Garlic was believed to ward off evil spirits (and thoughts) and keep people from losing their way.
COURAGE - Because the Roman generals believed that garlic gave their armies courage, they planted fields of garlic in the countries they conquered, believing that courage was transferred to the battlefield.
